JONESBORO, Ga. -- A talented Jonesboro High School junior has won $500 and bragging right in a national contest.
Lily Pham placed first in the art category of the Create Real Impact competition.
Create Real Impact challenged students to create peer-to-peer messages about the dangers of distracted driving and making reckless decisions. The contest was open to high school and college students across the country. Categories included art, creative writing, music and video.
Lily's winning artwork is titled If You Only Live Once, How Do You Want to Be Remembered.
Create Real Impact is sponsored by California Casualty, which provides auto and home insurance to educators, firefighters, law enforcement officers and nurses in 44 states.
