MORROW, Ga. -- The Clayton County Police Department will participate in this year's National Night Out.
National Night Out is a program designed to encourage Americans to team up with their local police departments to combat crime and strengthen community spirit.
This year's event will be held Tuesday, Aug. 6. In Clayton County, the fun will begin at 6 p.m. at the Super Target on Mt. Zion Road in Morrow.
"We want to invite our citizens to bring their family and join us in this great event where they will be able to speak to some of our officers, address questions or concerns, and learn how we have been helping and educating many neighborhoods about crime prevention partnership," Clayton County Police Officer Eddie Soto said in a statement.
