$10 HAIRCUTS TO HELP "A FRIEND'S HOUSE"

On Sunday July 15th from 1-5pm  the HAIRWAVES STUDIO at 2266 Jonesboro Road and Chambers Road intersection in McDonough will be holding a "CUT-A-THON" for A Friend's House shelter for neglected and abused children of Henry County.

Stylists will perform wet cuts and clipper cuts for a $10 donation from clients with ALL of the proceeds going to A  Friends House.   Come get a great haircut from some of Henry County's top stylists and help out others.

HairWaves studio is easy to get to.   Just take Exit 221 Jonesboro Rd and go West 1 mile off of I-75.  Just across  from the CVS.

'Happiest Baby' film to screen across metro Atlanta

ATLANTA -- Pediatrician Dr. Harvey Karp is bringing his famous, revolutionary parenting techniques to a movie theater near you.

The film Parent' Night Out with the Happiest Baby & Happiest Toddler, starring Dr. Harvey Karp will be screened at select theaters at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 21. The screenings will be hosted by actress Ali Landry.

Cops on Doughnut Shops to benefit Special Olympics

ATLANTA -- Nine metro Atlanta Krispy Kreme doughnut shops will participate in this year's Cops on Doughnut Shops fundraiser for Special Olympics.

From 6 a.m. on Friday, June 8 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, local law enforcement officers will be on the roofs of the Krispy Kremes, where they will eat, sleep and play while collecting donations from customers.

The money raised during Cops on Doughnut Shops will go to the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Georgia.
