Woman accused of stabbing mom to death | News

JONESBORO, Ga. -- A 24-year-old woman is in custody after police said she stabbed her mother to death. 

According to Clayton County police, the woman and her mother were involved in a domestic argument at a home on the 9000 block of Carnes Estate Drive in Jonesboro.

During the argument, police said the woman pulled a knife on her mother and stabbed her. The mother was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.  

Police have not released the identity of the suspect or the victim.
