ADOPT A PET: Meet Dugan | Pets
Title (Max 100 Characters)
NEWNAN, Ga. – If you dream of coming home to a wet nose, wagging tail and tons of kisses (in addition to, perhaps, a half-chewed shoe or an overturned trashcan) adopt a puppy from your local Humane Society. According to the ASPCA, approximately 5 million to 7 million domesticated animals enter animal shelters nationwide, every year, and approximately 3 million to 4 million are euthanized. However, you can change those numbers by adopting a "companion" for yourself or for your family. Pets are an investment but, in our opinion, an investment well worth the money.
Dugan is a Husky-Terrier mix, who is approximately three-years-old. Since Dugan is an adult, he is housetrained and knows basic commands like “sit, stay, free, leave”. According to the Humane Society, he is great on a leash and he is good with other friendly dogs. They think he would be a great companion and they say he has a protective nature about those he loves. He is medium-sized and is full grown. He is currently in the Newnan-Coweta Humane Society Guest Pet program. He can be adopted for $70.
