Rex Mill Middle win 2010 V0lleyball Championship

Via The Daily View:

Rex Mill Middle defeated an impressive band of final four volleyball teams to emerge as this year's winner of the Clayton County Middle Schools Volleyball Championship, clinching the coveted winner's trophy for the second time in the schools' young history.

"The final four teams in the tournament were all outstanding teams and all deserving of making it to the semi-final round," said Rex Mill Middle Athletic Director Ervin Starr. "This was some of the best volleyball Clayton County has seen in years - on any level!"

Competing in the final four games were Babb, Kendrick, Morrow, and Rex Mill middle schools. "The young ladies made diving digs, ferocious serves, and some amazing spikes," Starr said.

The Volleyball Yellow Jackets have amassed a 26-1 record over the past three seasons.
